Everest Aviation Group envisions a new era of transcontinental and international aviation where underserved routes become viable, high-value corridors. Guided by over 25 years of the founder’s Aviation expertise and as a U.S. airline captain, we are methodically developing a world-class carrier. In advanced stages of our comprehensive business plan and FAA certification process this year, we move forward confidently yet deliberately, ensuring every step upholds the highest standards of safety, innovation, and integrity.
Everest Aviation Group is dedicated to pioneering safe, efficient, and premium non-stop widebody air service from major U.S. gateways to a long-underserved niche market previously without direct access from the United States. By leveraging strategic connectivity and departures from major US airports, we aim to deliver unparalleled convenience, comfort, and reliability to travelers and communities in this emerging corridor. As a holding company advancing steadily toward FAA Air Operator Certificate (AOC) approval, our core commitment is to build on a foundation of proven aviation leadership, rigorous safety standards, and innovative thinking to create lasting value in global connectivity.
Everest Aviation Group is advancing plans to establish the first-ever non-stop widebody service from the United States to a previously unserved niche market with no existing direct options.
Current routes force travelers through prolonged layovers in connecting Middle Eastern hubs, often extending total travel time to 24–72 hours and frustrating passengers who prioritize efficiency – whether for limited-vacation trips or seamless longer visits. A true non-stop alternative could cut this to around 17 hours or less, delivering game-changing time savings.
From a strategic network of U.S. gateways spanning the West Coast, Central U.S., Midwest, and East Coast, we’ll offer premium widebody flights focused on comfort and hospitality: modern in-flight entertainment, delicious food and beverage selections, exceptional service, and multilingual cabin crew (including fluency in local languages) to create an inviting, passenger-centric experience.
As a holding company progressing toward FAA certification, we’re building the foundation to serve this high-potential market with safety, innovation, and true focus on traveler needs.
Marc is a seasoned U.S. airline captain and aviation professional with over 25 years of diverse experience across airline operations, flight training, charter, corporate, cargo, and flight testing. Holding an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, CFI-I (Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument), and type rating as PIC on the Bombardier CRJ-900, he has accumulated more than 8,400 total flight hours – including over 6,100 in jets – with an exemplary safety record that ranks among the best in the nation.
A graduate of the University of North Dakota (UND) Aerospace with a B.S. in Aeronautics, Marc earned early recognition for his skill and composure: in 1999, he became only the third recipient ever of UND’s Certificate of Airmanship for safely handling a nighttime engine-out emergency landing in challenging crosswind conditions with minimal flight experience. During an internship with American Airlines’ Flight Operations-Technical department, he contributed to accepting a new Boeing 737-800 from Boeing in Seattle and mapped hospital locations along potential Polar routes for extended twin-engine operations on the Boeing 777.
Marc served as a Captain on the CRJ-900 under US Part 121 Airline, performed Functional Control Flight (FCF) testing to certify aircraft airworthiness post-maintenance, was part of the ‘Conformity Test Flight’ team, and was selected as a flight deck crew member for the airline’s pioneering transition to Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) standards under FAA evaluation. He also excelled in pilot recruitment, aviation safety (including SMS, CRM, Human Factors, and Flight Physiology), and various general aviation roles as a corporate, charter, and cargo pilot.
Beyond the cockpit, Marc has taught English to international aviation students from Asia and coached squash in the Twin Cities. He remains deeply committed to his community, serving as an Election Judge in Minnesota since 2020, and as a member of the Sheriff’s Citizen Advisory Council since 2019.
Driven by a passion for innovation and underserved markets, Marc founded Everest Aviation Group to pioneer the first non-stop widebody service from the United States to a niche destination long overlooked. With Everest in initial stages toward FAA Air Operator Certificate (AOC) approval, he brings proven leadership, safety-first mindset, and operational expertise to build a new era of connectivity.
